Abstract

There is a period between the imitation of the French institutional models –during the Napoleonic occupation– and the concession of the “Statuto Albertino” that can be named as “constitutional prehistory of Italy”, which is not well studied yet. This text tries to show this first period before the approbation of the “Statuto Albertino”.

Paolo Colombo, Universidad Católica de Milán

Profesor de "Storia dei sistemi costituzionali contemporanei" y "Storia contemporanea" en la Facoltà di Scienze politiche dell'Università Cattolica di Milano. Entre 1996 y 2001 ha impartido docencia sobre "Storia costituzionale" en la Facoltà di Scienze Politiche dell'Università di Macerata. Ha trabajado sobre las transformaciones del régimen en el período revolucionario francés, con especial atención a la función del Jefe del Estado monárquico. Ha publicado tres monografías: Governo e costituzione. La trasformazione del regime politico nelle teorie dell'età rivoluzionaria francese, Milano, Giuffrè, 1993; Il re d'Italia.
