Author Biography

Ignacio Fernández Sarasola, Universidad de Oviedo

Profesor Titular de Derecho Constitucional, Secretario del Seminario de Historia Constitucional "Martínez Marina" y de la revista "Historia Constitucional", Director de la Biblioteca Virtual "Francisco Martínez Marina" e Investigador Titular del Instituto Feijoo de Estudios del Siglo XVIII. Se ha especializado en la historia constitucional, sobre la que ha publicado más de 60 textos. Entre sus más recientes publicaciones destacan Jovellanos. Escritos Políticos, KRK-Instituto Feijoo de Estudios del Siglo XVIII, Oviedo, 2006; La Constitución de Bayona (1808), Iustel, Madrid, 2007 y, Los partidos políticos en el pensamiento español. De la Ilustración a nuestros días, Marcial Pons, Madrid, 2009. Recientemente ha obtenido el V Premio "Manuel Giménez Abad" sobre estudios parlamentarios por su libro Los primeros Parlamentos modernos en España (1780-1823), (en prensa).
